Arsenic and Old Lace Auditions and Volunteers
Auditions for adult male actors for Arsenic and Old Lace will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, February 11, 2010 at 1:30 pm. All auditions will be held at The Shepherd of Peace Fellowship Hall at 449 Edgewood Drive in Maumelle, AR. There are parts with very few lines, so if you've ever wanted to try your hand at acting, this is a good play to start.
You do not need to prepare anything for the audition. We would like potential cast members to come to both auditions, if possible. We are also needing volunteers to help with costumes, props and set construction. Go to our Volunteer page and we will get in touch with you. This ever popular dark comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace by American playwright, Joseph Kesserling. This play centers around the "charitable" activities of two elderly ladies who help lonely, old men move on to the other side with their own recipe of Elderberry Wine. With a brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt and nephew who looks like Boris Karloff, the laughs are endless as the police try to figure out who is sane and who is not.
